As an archaeologist from London with extensive experience in the Middle East, my family's recent stay at Hotel Edda was a refreshing escape, combining comfort and cultural experiences. The owner's warmth and readiness to assist with local excursions made us feel genuinely welcomed. Our accommodation was spacious and well-equipped, allowing us to unwind after a day spent exploring. The breakfast buffet catered to all tastes, ensuring our children started their day with energy for adventures. We also appreciated the ski-to-door access; our family enjoyed a delightful day on the slopes with convenience and ease. Post-ski, the cozy lounge offered an ideal setting for our kids to unwind while sharing stories about the day's escapades. We appreciated the hotel's location. Nestled in a quieter valley, it was perfect for river walks and exploring nearby historical sites-a balance that suited my archaeological interests while keeping the family engaged. Hotel Edda provided us with a memorable family-friendly experience, with activities suitable for all ages. We look forward to returning for another wonderful stay where we can continue to bond as a family amidst scenic landscapes and rich history.
